Our Mission

The Association of Religious Communities contributes to the University of Michigan by advocating for and facilitating the religious dimensions of university life and by fostering mutual understanding and cooperation among representatives of campus-based religious organizations. We aspire to foster a flourishing university community in which religious perspectives inform university decision-making, representatives of campus- based religious organizations relate to each other in meaningful ways, and university members are supported in their religious and spiritual lives.

Welcome to the University of Michigan! ARC represents many religious and spiritual organizations around campus that support students. Check out our membership to see if a group appeals to you. There may be other religious groups that are not represented but that you may be interested in. Many of the religious organizations on campus and in the Ann Arbor community can be found on the List of Spiritual Resources at UM compiled by ARC.
